Michael Mann, is this a good record. Every song sounds like it’s the last song. This is the kind of music that an amateur filmmaker would immediately place over a shot of a person running in slow motion. If you didn’t go to film school, that means this is an effortlessly epic collection of songs that elicits genuine emotion. Some may say that the singer sounds like the dude from Interpol, and I would counter by asking, “So what?”
